SERVICES
GENERAL PRACTITIONERS REFERRALS
Your GP can provide you with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) referral under the Better Access Initiative. MHCP offers you 10 psychology sessions with a rebate of $92.90 per session.

If you are a GP, then you can provide your patient a referral under the Medicare Rebate Session - Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
PRIVATE REFERRAL, TAC and WorkSafe
You can privately access psychology sessions as well. In
this case there is no rebate available.
If you have private health insurance, they may be able to cover a part of the fee. Please contact your insurance to check your cover.
TAC and WorkSafe provide some funding for individuals seeking support following and accident or injury.
At Citta Psychology Melbourne there is an out-of-pocket gap-fee of approximately $65 per session for WorkSafe. The gap amount is payable on the day of consultation.
There is no out of pocket for TAC services.
Limits to funding are determined by TAC and WorkSafe.
